Oh?  Practicing without a license, are we?  You can get in a LOT of trouble for
that, you know!

It appears to me that the ignoramuses who think that they should be able to
have other people run their systems for them are a lot more insecure than those
of us who actually help people with their problems with VMS (of course, some of
us don't take kindly to morons claiming to "manage" VMS systems when they
haven't a clue to how VMS works;  and we fully expect said morons to call us
insecure.

Well, to tell you the truth, I'm no more willing to suffer fools gladly in

You know, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking about the various shit-for-brains
assholes who don't think they need to know anything about VMS to manage a VMS

That's understandable.  You don't seem to be able to  understand anything.  Why
should this particular instance be an exception?

Well, some of us are also taught that it's impolite to claim stupidity as a
virtue.  Apparently they don't teach that "over there."  Please refrain from
being impolite in that way in the future.

I never said it did.  I *DID* point out that in Sabry's case, his lack of
fluency in English is impairing his ability to manage a VMS system.  Perhaps
it's your own lack of fluency in the language that caused you to miss this
subtle distinction?

Learning to RTFM should be the first step in the education of a system manager.
If someone claims to be a system manager but doesn't know how to RTFM, then his
employer should be able to sue him for fraud.

Let me point out that I've never flamed anybody for asking a FAQ.  I *HAVE*
flamed people for asking a question, ignoring the answers, and then asking the
same question again, and I *HAVE* flamed people for asking a question that was
covered in a thread within the past week, when they've been active in the group
while that thread was going on.

d*ckhead).  You seem to believe that it's possible to manage a VMS system
withoug having a clue as to how VMS works.  You seem to think that this is not

understanding of astronomy is purely at the amateur level (or below).  So
unless what I'm saying is directly related to VAX/VMS, don't hold me or my
organization responsible for it.  If it IS related to VAX/VMS, you can try to
