  12. Hiram has recently upgraded to v4.1 of RDB on VMS 5.5-1.  Since that time we
  13. have noticed a severe degradation in pre-compile time and build database time
  14. for very large databases, say 200+ columns.  We have consulted with Digital who
  15. has said that they have experienced no change in performance with the new
  16. version, but they are looking at our problem.  I'm curious if anyone else has
  17. seen a similar loss of performance.
