  12. I would like to direct input/output of the LPT port bits (in Gnu C).
  13. I looked in the OS/2 1.3 online programmer's ref. and I can't see anything
  14. about this. (like through DosDevIOCtl)

  16. Any ideas or pointers? I would rather not write a device driver, and I
  17. would like to be able to temporarily suspend normal OS/2 spooling and
  18. LPT activity, while I do IO through the parallel port. Can I lock it
  19. out?

  21. Another thing: normal printer ports have only 5 input bits, but I heard that
  22. some newer printer port hardware have more inputs. Anyone know: the port
  23. address, offset and bit where these other ports live? And what physical
  24. pin do they live at?
