  15.    IBM understands the need to be aable to exchange EA's over NFS, and this
  16. past Summer, I posted a draft copy of an EA exchange protocol that would be
  17. able to enhance NFS to do just that (I was a co-op working for IBM at the
  18. time).  NFS in and of itself doesn't have support for anything like EA's, so
  19. an additional protocol like this would have to be used.
