  20. I (apparently incorrectly) assumed that ENGLISH was basically a standard
  21. at least at the *OS* level.  I figured it was similar to the standard 
  22. established for Air Traffic Control, where it is nearly universally
  23. agreed (so I'm told) that English is the official language.

  25. BTW, the Croatian girl in my AI class this past semester spoke
  26. very good English :-) :-)
