- Yes. Create a program object for MSD.EXE (I'm assuming that's the
- executable). Do so by dragging a program object from your Templates
- folder to any destination folder (like "DOS Programs"). Fill in the
- program name (and path). Click on the right arrow at the bottom right
- of the window. Click on the DOS Settings button. Scroll down until
- you find DOS_VERSION. At the bottom of the list in the upper right
- window, add:
-
- MSD.EXE,3,30,255
-
- (This will tell OS/2 2.0 to pretend it is DOS Version 3.30 when
- reporting the DOS version number.)
-
- Close up everything, then double click on the program object to run
- MSD.EXE. Note, however, that this program may need to run under
- native DOS. It is a diagnostic program, and OS/2 is going to prevent
- the program from accessing certain hardware.
