- Here we go.
-
- System
- Processor i386dx25
- Memory 8 Megs
- Drives A: 5.25 HD
- B: 3.5 HD
- C: 60meg ESDI adaptor
- D: 44meg SCSI external removeable
- E: Sound blaster MPC multimedia
- Other stuff Sound blatser pro
- D: drive is (oh shit!) . . . STACKED
-
- Problems
-
- (1) Grinding and poor performance on C: drive
- I got ibm5061s.add and it fixed that problem.
- (2) Fdisk error when installing with drive D: connected
- Can't find country.sys when booting os2 with drive D: connected
- If I disconect D: drive OS/2 installs and runs fine.
- (3) Block driver error when stacker is added to config.sys
- (4) Won't recognized multiMedia drive
- (5) Probably lots of problems I haven't found yet.
-
-
- I really need stacker on my D: drive because I have quite a few application
- and ideally I would like to configure OS/2 to fit my system not the other way around.
-
- If any OS/2 gurus have any suggestions besides getting a bigger hard drive and getting rid of
- stacker, I would very very much like to hear them.
