  25. Perfectly normal (except for the mad scrolling, of course).  What is
  26. happening is that, for whatever reason, your monitor is unable to sync
  27. to the image your video adapter is generating.

  29. To try and remedy the situation, get ahold of your ATI setup utility.
  30. This should be located on a diskette that came with your system.
  31. Configure your ATI adapter so that it does not use above 72 Hz
  32. noninterlaced in 8514/A mode.  Verify that all modes sync properly to
  33. your monitor.  Then save these settings.  Then repeat your
  34. installation.  If installation fails again, try some different
  35. settings using the ATI utility.
