- Yes indeed. You may not be using a monitor that can sync properly to
- the defaults the Trident tries to use.

- First try shutting down, toggling the jumper, then restarting. After
- you've restarted, go to a full screen DOS session and run SVGA ON.
- Exit, shutdown, and reboot.

- If that doesn't work, obtain the TVGACRTC.EXE utility, available via
- anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu. It is contained in the file
- tridutil.zip, I believe -- check /pub/os2/00Index for location. You
- can use that utility to customize the refresh rates for your monitor.
- Do so from a full screen DOS session. Once you've set things up
- correctly, run SVGA ON. Exit, shutdown, and reboot.
