  24. Yes indeed.  You may not be using a monitor that can sync properly to
  25. the defaults the Trident tries to use.

  27. First try shutting down, toggling the jumper, then restarting.  After
  28. you've restarted, go to a full screen DOS session and run SVGA ON.
  29. Exit, shutdown, and reboot.

  31. If that doesn't work, obtain the TVGACRTC.EXE utility, available via
  32. anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu.  It is contained in the file
  33. tridutil.zip, I believe -- check /pub/os2/00Index for location.  You
  34. can use that utility to customize the refresh rates for your monitor.
  35. Do so from a full screen DOS session.  Once you've set things up
  36. correctly, run SVGA ON.  Exit, shutdown, and reboot.
