- Hi all,
-
- I just installed OS/2 and unfortunately couldn't figure out how
- to get it to install to my hardcard. I'm using a Quantum Hardcard
- XL 105. I got the new drivers from their BBS, so at least OS/2
- will recognize it now. But what I'd really like to do is have
- OS/2 run off of my hardcard vs my internal hard drive, reason being
- my hardcard is 9 ms access and my had drive is 28 ms. Anyway, I
- tried copying all of the files from my c drive (hard disk) to
- my d drive (hard card) and changing all references to C: in my
- config.sys and autoexec.bat to d:. This is how I had windows 3.1 running
- before. This completly hung OS/2. Anyway, my guess is it has to
- do with the fact that it has to find the driver for the hard card
- first. Am I on the right track, any ideas?
-
- Any responses will be greatly appreciated.
