- I got my OS/2 2.1 beta last night, installed it today, and had the same
- problem. I re-installed the OS2MMPM.ZIP set of drivers with no change.
- Then I moved the CONFIG.SYS lines for the SB to the top of CONFIG.SYS
- and it started working. I have:
-
- IFS=D:\OS2\HPFS.IFS /CACHE:256 /CRECL:4 /AUTOCHECK:E
- DEVICE=D:\SBPCD2.SYS /P:240
- DEVICE=G:\MMOS2\SBP2D2.SYS 1 3 5 240 4
- SET MMBASE=G:\MMOS2;
- SET DSPPATH=G:\MMOS2\DSP;
- DEVICE=G:\MMOS2\SSMDD.SYS
- DEVICE=G:\MMOS2\ADSHDD.SYS
- PROTSHELL=D:\OS2\PMSHELL.EXE
- etc...

- On mine, I first got a combo-box with different versions of the SB, then
- a box asking how many SB's I had, then it asked for DMA with a combo-box.
- The selections were a little too far to the right, but readable. It
- may be different on a PS/2 (I'm assuming microchannel??). I suspect
- then above will fix it.
- Good Luck,
