  12. The subject speaks for itself. First try:
  13.  
  14.   Installed over 2.0 + SP. Everything looking ok, but after changing
  15.   display to TSENG 1024x768x256 and executing a seamless windows
  16.   program, it bombs like the fat man (pointer still moves, but the
  17.   wps is completely unresponsive). CTL-ALT-DEL not working,
  18.   hard reset.

  20. Second try:

  22.   Ripped out the os2 subtree, based on an earlier experience with
  23.   the SP not tollerating the current setup (IE, forced 
  24.   reinstall of all code). Made MAJOR error this time. I <sniff>
  25.   selected "USE PRESENT WINDOWS DESKTOP" which would now work
  26.   since my windows 3.1 is now compatible with os/2's.
  27.   System comes up, but when executing any windows program
  28.   "GA FAULT: SBPRO MODULE" ie, it does not like the sound blaster
  29.   driver it got automatically from my present win 3.1.

  31. Third try:
  32.  
  33.   Ripped EVERYTHING (including the root hidden files). Forgot 
  34.   the system was set to boot os/2, ie, my dos boot was no
  35.   lost.. i'll spare you the rest of that story, it's pretty
  36.   ugly...
  37.   Brought up the 2.1 onto a CLEAN system (no trace of os/2 2.x
  38.   files). Installs ok, then on the "boot to os/2" hangs up 
  39.   completely. Was never asked for dual boot/boot manager etc.
  40.   (seems to default to dual boot).

  42. Well, the story is not over yet, but beware of the above items
  43. if you are trying to get it up !
