  11. Does anyone know about a company called Lava? They apparently 
  12. manufacture high-end video boards--and drivers--for OS/2. The 
  13. following are quotes from one-or-the-other Fido conferences.

  17. manufacturer - in business since 1984 building PC add-on boards. Since 
  18. the beginnings Lava boards have always come standard with a Lifetime 
  19. Replacement Warranty - applies to graphics boards, ISA and MCA I/o 
  20. boards, and network cards. We're a small company so support is always 
  21. good since you actually have access to the designers themselves. In 
  22. terms of price - comparable to ATI but higher than the far-east 
  23. products. That applies of course to those products which ATI produces 
  24. which are similar to ours. They don't have anything close to the Nova 
  25. True Color 1024x768 16.8 million colors with BOTH Windows 3.1 and OS/2 
  26. 2.0 drivers.
