- Is there an Os2 setting or utility that does HighWaterMarking?
-
- HighWaterMarking prevents a non-owner from reading info from
- a disk volume. In particular, end-sector info at the end of a file
- after the EOF.
-
- DEC VAX/VMS has this as a default.
-
- I seem to remember a Prodigy flap several months ago where
- sensitive info was distributed nationally because of disk caching
- similar to this.
-
- Thanks,
- Walt Dence
