  18. Generally, no.  In DOS sessions you might get a marginal performance
  19. boost with a select class of applications (and you can control DOS
  20. sessions individually -- there's a control to shadow ROM if your
  21. computer doesn't do it).

  28. It isn't terribly surprising that IBM machines work quite well with
  29. OS/2 2.0.  The Model 56, for example, is a very nice OS/2 platform
  30. (with busmastering SCSI-2, busmastering coprocessed XGA-2 video, and
  31. 486SLC processor).

  33. However, there's a very long list of PCs which work quite well with
  34. OS/2.  Look for the "PCM" list, available via anonymous ftp from
  35. ftp-os2.nmsu.edu (check /pub/os2/00Index file for location).
