- I have been noticing an unusual bug on my 386/33, 16 mb, Trident video system.
- If I start any application from an icon and then exit it, the icon still
- shows that the application is active (by the hatch marks behind it). Also,
- it has also been happening that occasionally, when I click on an icon to
- open a new program, one of the already active processes comes to the surface.
- I am running the 'official' Trident 32 bit 800x600x256 video driver which may
- be the cause as I did not notice these problems till I installed these
- drivers. I think that the video drivers are losing track of the icons.
-
- I do have to say that they are the most stable video drivers I have
- has on my system to date. The 800x600x16 would trap 000d or 000e within an
- hour and the 800x600x256 16-bit drivers would take about a day. I am now
- up to 3-5 days before a trap 000d and my machine support a BBS so it runs
- 24 hrs a day.
