- Make sure HW_TIMER is on and VIDEO_RETRACE_EMULATION is off. And then turn
- off the sound (PC squeeker slows down Wing even under raw DOS)

- I'd still STRONGLY recommend a sound card... it turns Wing Commander from a
- great game into something approaching a religious experience.. :)
