  28. Make sure HW_TIMER is on and VIDEO_RETRACE_EMULATION is off.  And then turn
  29. off the sound (PC squeeker slows down Wing even under raw DOS)

  31. I'd still STRONGLY recommend a sound card... it turns Wing Commander from a
  32. great game into something approaching a religious experience.. :)
