- Well, as a late Christmas present, I will be purchasing a tape drive in the
- next month. I am open to suggestions as to what sort of tape drive to use.
- My requirements are first that it support HPFS with long filenames, be able
- to back up my 120meg hard drive (40% zipped files for a bbs) and have
- software that does unattended backups. I have heard that CMS's software is
- not too good and a SCSI drive is out of the question due to cost. I have
- hear alot about backmaster but they are not shipping yet as far as I know.
- I would also like to software to have a command line interface for restoration
- from a boot floppy (ie non PM interface) as well as a PM interface.
-
- If I get enough replies, I will attempt to summarize and post what I hear.
- Thanks for your time,
-
