- Thanks Larry. Yes I did mean MDA nut now I have 1024X760X256 VGA but I'm
- still wondering at this late date if it's worth installing. I want the
- HPFS and OS/2 as my only operating system which means I have to make
- backups, reformat and partition, plus put up with what I understand to be
- a pretty buggy 2.0 version, find the service pack and any other required
- fix files and then very likely repeat most of this in a month or two when OS/2
- 2.1 comes out.
-
- I am dying to try it out but maybe I should wait for 2.1.
- My only attempt to install resulted in the obvious hardware configuration
- error message (can't find country.sys). Even with only 5 M of RAM I should
- no longer have any hardware configuration problems so I would need to get
- this sorted out and this will probably be fixed on 2.1. Does anybody know
- when 2.1 is due? If it's too long I may go ahead and try it. If I go
- solely to the HPFS file system is there a chance that I may not be able to
- run some DOS programs? Decisions decisions.
