- I'm a "registered" user of TE/2, but my paid version and manuals have not
- come in yet (so forgive me if this is hashed out there).
-
- When the first round of Trident 32 bit drivers came out, I was one of
- those who had his system hang up on him. This forced me to do a full
- re-installation (GA+SP). Prior to that, I was using the first shareware
- version of TE/2 that came out - the one with the problem COMMPAK.DLL
-
- Emacs worked fine with the 'old' shareware version, but when I had to do
- the re-installation, I only had a copy of the 'new' shareware version
- with different colors and the new COMMPAK.DLL. Now Emacs acts buggy. If
- I scroll backwards on a line with either arrow keys or C-b, then characters
- on the screen disappear.
-
- I can get them back easily enough, but that requires me to do a C-l (screen
- refresh). Something changed between my old setup and my new setup. It
- could be a modem setting, it could be new to TE/2. Either way, if anyone
- knows the secret to stop this from happening, I would appreciate your
- help.
-
- Cheers,
-
