- Logitech mouse are not directly supported. And by that I mean there is
- no mouse driver for OS/2. Sure I have my Mouseman working under OS/2.
- But I don't have a Mouse Icon under "control panel" like I do under
- Windows where I can redefine all sorts of stuff including the middle
- button. It sees my Mouseman as a generic bus mouse. Now of course this
- is not a problem and I have my left and right button working fine. And
- what I describe above are just additional features I can get under
- Windows that's not available under OS/2 yet. But aha. For me, this is a
- problem. I actually have DOS programs that uses the middle button! And
- my problem is I can't use them under OS/2 cause OS/2 doesn't have a real
- Logitech driver hence doesn't know about the middle button. Even under a
- DOS window, full screen or otherwise. I can't even load my DOS Mouse driver
- in my DOS window where my mouse doesn't work at all.
-
- But for most people, all you need is the left and right button for OS/2
- and the generic drivers will work with Logitech mices just fine.
