- Some other classic examples of fault tolerance are:
- 1) Unplug a Sun Keyboard --- Watch the kernel Panic

- 2) Altos Unix/Xenix boxes would hang up when the console is disconnected
- and the buffer fills. Plug it in and its business as usual.

- It seems that is a common problem with many OS's not particular to IBM.
- I would say that most computers are not built to be fault-tolerant.
