- I couldn't agree more. This is one area that Windows NT will be quite
- good. A single database file of system configurations, combining
- config.sys and autoexec.bat and other parameters. A utility will be used
- to alter the configuration. Registration of software is again handled by
- a utility.

- VAX/VMS has a defined installation procedure, but this is only one
- step in the right direction.
