- The machine:
- Packard Bell Legend 700 486/33, 8meg x 120mb
- The video card:
- Orchid Fahrenheit 1280 1meg card, BIOS rev 3, VESA in BIOS, S386C911
- The software:
- CSHOW 8.50a using its VESA driver, mode 'Y' (640x480x16m)
- run in a DOS full-screen session, with the following:
- VIDEO_RETRACE_EMULATION off
- VIDEO_ROM_EMULATION off
- The images:
- Targa24 RGB .tga, both from commercial software demos and from
- DKB/Trace, all 16m color 24-bit, from 200x200 to 640x480
- The os:
- OS/2 2.0 GA w/ SP, both with and without the Orchid F1280 beta
- desktop video driver
