- I am trying to install OS/2 2.0. It hangs up on me with a blank screen
- when it tries to boot after installing the 6th disk. The problem appears to be
- related to OS/2's attempt to switch to SUPER VGA before the video drivers are
- installed. IBM technical support says that VGA should be specified but they
- can't tell me where.
-
- Has anyone else had this problem? I'm using an ATI ULTRA PRO card with
- a Super VGA monitor, both capable of 1024x768 and 1280x1024 @ 72Hz with the
- correct drivers. We know this driver works since we have Windows 3.1 already
- running in 1024x768 mode.
-
- Please email any potential solutions. Thanks in advance.
