  11. I have two questions about installing emx0.8e.
  12.  
  13. First, I realize that the c++ include files are longer than 8.3 and should
  14. be installed under HPFS, but I am still using FAT and want to know if there
  15. is a work around or solution to getting emx to install the c++ stuff under
  16. FAT?  Has someone reconfigured emx0.8e to conform to the FAT 8.3 filenames?

  18. Second, I am having trouble with termcap under emx0.8e; hence, gdb4.6 doesn't
  19. work.  Specifically, I have setup the environment variables etc, correctly, but
  20. emx stills says my term is too dum to run gdb and I assume that is because
  21. something is wrong with the termcap, but I am not sure what.  Any hints?
