  11. OK, I have a Trident 8900c with 1meg and have been running 800x600x256 colors
  12. with the 16bit drivers and everything has been just fine. Except of course for
  13. those stupid messed up settings boxes. I heard all the talk about the new 32
  14. bit drivers that supposedly support the palette manager. So I downloaded the
  15. NEW ones, not the original so-called 'leaked' ones. They install just fine and
  16. of course they work fine. The colors are a bit different, they seem to be a bit
  17. darker. But that's ok. So I decided to check out this new palatte manager thing
  18. and downloaded IMSHOW. It turns out that it totally screws up my palette and
  19. no colors are correct at all. Is there something I am missing? I ran the
  20. physcolo program and it filled itself up with lots of pretty colors, although
  21. they didn't blend together very well as one would expect.

  23. Am I missing something with these new drivers? I really would like to be able
  24. to use the palette manager in the program that I want to write.

  26. And does anyone know if the virtual desktops are coming back? I have gotten
  27. very addicted to the 1000x1000 on my 14inch monitor.
