  13. I have the following problem (which arises in using TeX):  After running a 
  14. program, several new files are produced, each with a different (and predictable)
  15. extension.  They all appear in the folder in which I'm working.  But I'm only
  16. interested (usually) in one of them, so I would like to configure so that
  17. only the file with the desired extension would actually appear on the screen on
  18. the folder (unless I ask for the others too...).  Any way to do this?
