- I mus confess I don't understand much about the techical aspects of how
- SWAPPER.DAT works, but I do note that is is used, even on systems where there
- is more than enough RAM. (if someone could explain this, I would be much
- grateful.) As for the problem of the continuously growing swapfile, I
- remember that the OS/2 2.0 kernel update (available at fine OS/2 sites
- everywhere), in its list of fixed bugs, mentions something about the
- swapfile not shrinking properly. If you haven't already, you might try
- installing the new kernel and see if this fixes your problem.
