  12. I mus confess I don't understand much about the techical aspects of how 
  13. SWAPPER.DAT works, but I do note that is is used, even on systems where there
  14. is more than enough RAM.  (if someone could explain this, I would be much 
  15. grateful.)  As for the problem of the continuously growing swapfile, I 
  16. remember that the OS/2 2.0 kernel update (available at fine OS/2 sites 
  17. everywhere), in its list of fixed bugs, mentions something about the 
  18. swapfile not shrinking properly.  If you haven't already, you might try 
  19. installing the new kernel and see if this fixes your problem.
