- Real soon now, I expect to be getting the DAP CD.
- I'd like to prepare for it by buying a CD-ROM drive.
- Locally available is a thing called the "NEC Express",
- which comes with device drivers for DOS. The salesman *thinks*
- there is an OS/2 driver for it, but does not know
- for sure. IBM informs me that the NEC CDR 84 and NEC CDR 74
- are on their list of drives they know to work, and that other drives
- may well work too. The drive in the "NEC Express" is,
- however, a NEC CDR 25.
-
- Does anyone know if this drive works with the OS/2 DAP disk?
- And does anyone know where to obtain the driver?
