- I just bought an Adaptec 1542B so I could reinstall and USE OS2 with the
- added storage of my 90MB Bernoulli.
-
- It doesn't work for me--I get a "SYS 0026 The specified disk...cannot be
- accessed" when I change to the scsi drive (Bernoulli) and do a "DIR" inside
- an OS2 window. OS2 accesses the drive--it whirs during boot --but doesn't
- see the files on there already. It was formatted with Adaptec's AFDISK.
-
- My boot drive is an RLL. The Adaptec is set to BIOS DISABLE (so as to use ASPI
- drivers in DOS), INT 11, SCSI ID 5, LUN 0, i/o address 330, host adaptor:7
- and DMA 5. It's set to 5 mb/s DTR, and EVERY possible conflicting card has
- been removed from my system--an 8MB 386-25 uncached clone--to no avail.
-
- This is quite frustrating since the 1542B SHOULD work.
-
- What might I be doing wrong?
- Thanks,
-
