- You must be using FAT, right?

- Yep, FAT. Have you been compressing your disk or re-orging it while in the DOS
- mode? This can stuff OS/2 good and proper.....

- Dump the DOS. Go HPFS. But do it with the latest version of OS/2 you can get
- your hands on. The GA+Service Pak will work fine, though there is a new
- UHPFS.DLL for even that combination.
-
- I have been using HPFS since April 27th and have not had any errors or crashes
- that I can pin on it. HPFS is pretty robust as a file system. Leave the
- auto-chkdsk on in the config when it installs - or make sure that any drives
- you add get auto-checked at start-up if required.

- SCSI? Get an Adaptec or Future Domain.....these are supported in OS/2 2.1
- right out of the box.....along with the IBM SCSI controller.
