- I have just installed SIO020 and set it up and tested it out.
-
- It worked quite well for COM1, COM3 and COM4 (Mouse on COM2 was detected)
-
- I used Telemate 3.10 to test it on all the com ports (I set it up for my
- configuration) and was able to talk to the modem on all the com ports I
- tested. After exiting telemate, I do a dir (with a utility that I've been
- using for quite a while with NO problems at all) and OS/2 is crashed.
-
- I dont recall the exact message, something about illegal instruction or
- something like that.
-
- The interesting thing is, IRQ2 (for COM3) was recognized as IRQ9. Why is
- that?
-
- I've uninstalled SIO now so I can return stability to my system. Does anyone
- have any ideas what this might be???
-
- Also...second question. I want to move my mouse to com4. Is this possible?
- I tried moving the mouse and vmouse(?) after I defined COM4, but VMOUSE
- wouldn't load, so I had no mouse at all in the system. :(
-
- Is there a way I can do this?
-
- Thanks
- Greg
