- don't know... i don't have one and procomm+ (Dos) runs merrily w/ all my
- other programs. during downloading, i can still do stuff w/
- wordperfect (dos) and all my other goodies. in fact at one time i was
- restoring some gifs via fastback 2.0(?) (dos), writing a paper in
- wp, and downloading some gifs in the background.

- perhaps there's something wrong w/ the beta? (although i face anything
- as severe as yours while i had the ga, beta, and now the service pack.
- install the service pack and see if everthing gets better.

- my mac friend and i use to laugh at it because everytime i
