- Hello, I was trying to install the PDK CD from IBM. I have a Gateway 2000
- 486 with 8 megs of memory. I have an ATI Graphics Ultra Pro video card
- that is the local bus VESA version.
-
- I couldn't get my CD ROM to install OS/2 so I made disk images. Upon
- loading them as instructed I got to only disk 5, then it asked me to put in
- the installation disk. After doing so I copyied a few files and rebooted.
- First I was wondering if this was normal (I think it is), anyways. Now
- when the machince booted up I got the OS/2 logo and the loading please wait
- screen. Then when a dialog box came up my monitor appeared to loose synch
- because I couldn't read anything(the screen was scrolling so fast).
-
- My graphics card is supposed to be 100% IBM VGA compatable, so could I be
- installing something wrong? Also if someone got the Sony 31A CD player to
- install the Beta version I would apreciate any help.
-
- Thanks in advance.....
