  16. Well, the internet newsgroups all get shadowed into IBM on a read-only basis.
  17. People can arrange to post out, and there are a few who do on regular basis.

  19. Research, Austin (AIX development) and some other pockets of IBM have more
  20. direct access. While most of those people (myself included) don't have
  21. any direct responsibilty for OS/2, we try and get word back to people when
  22. it's important.

  24. From my perspective, what matters the most is that when something happens
  25. that makes people on the internet really yell, there's a pretty good chance
  26. that someone who can do something about it will see it and look into the
  27. problem. It's not the way to solve day to day problems, nothing informal
  28. ever is.

  30. I don't think anyone's got formal repsonsibility to "talk to the internet"
  31. But I'll ask in some of our internal discussions and see where that 
  32. stands these days.
