- Hi everyone:
-
- Quick question; is it possible for a DOS session to "spawn" another
- DOS session in the background? I know this is possible for OS/2
- processes, but how about DOS?
-
- What I would like to do is have Waffle running in one DOS session,
- and then if somebody would like to send a FAX document on my other
- line (by sending a mail message to FAXDAEMON containing the document
- they wish to send), Waffle would then "spawn" the FAX process in
- another session. This way the user could continue doing what they
- were doing and then get a mail message when the FAX was complete.
-
- Is this at all possible? Or is it more of a juggling act by using
- an OS/2 command line session as the middle-man?
-
- Please respond via e-mail, I have temporarily lost read-access to all
- OS/2 groups until the new year. I shall be more than happy to follow-up
- here with a summary.
-
- Thanks in advance.
