- I just picked up a beta driver going around, called SIO something. The
- interesting thing is that it virtualizes both OS/2 serial transfers as
- well as DOS serial transfers - and upon testing:
-
- 1. My xfers no longer died during multitasking (at 38.4, 14.4kb, 1700
- CPS) using my old 16440.
-
- 2. DOS programs which tended to slow down the v86 mt'ker (such as Procomm
- Plus's HOST MODE) did not do it as much as before.
-
- I got this file off of Channel 1. Get it, and let 'r rip!
-
- (ps. look for SIO010.ZIP)
