  10. Problem in installing  OS/2

  12. I encountered a problem during installation in the disk 1 and I got the      
  13. following  message.

  16. The file A:\COUNTRY.SYS IS INCORRECT.
  17. The system is stopped. Please correct the preceding error and restart the   system.

  20. I had tried to use my back up copy  of OS/2 and got the same message. 
  21.  I had also tried various suggestions given by tech support people in the campus
  22. but in vain.

  24. My  configuration is
  25.  
  26. 486SX 25 Mhz, 8 Meg RAM, 213 meg Maxtor Hard drive
  27. 1 partition, AMI BIOS 12/12/91
  28.
