  11. For printing from Word for Windows to a remote UNIX printer:
  12.  
  13. 1)  In OS/2 install a printer that corresponds to the type of printer you will
  14.     target on the UNIX system, ie postscript.  Target this printer to one of
  15.     the LPTn ports such as LPT2.
  16. 2)  Assuming you have the IBM TCP/IP for OS/2 package, set environment
  17.     variables specifying the Unix system and printer names as directed in the
  18.     documentation for LPR.  Change your TCPSTART.CMD file to issue "DETACH
  19.     LPRMON LPTn" where LPTn is the same as the one chosen in 1) above.  Add
  20.     this line after all of the other daemons are started.
  21. 3)  Install the same printer in WINOS2 that you installed for OS/2.  Using the
  22.     Windows printer setup dialog assign the printer to port "LPTn.OS2" where
  23.     LPTn is the same as the one chosen in 1) above.
  24. 4)  Print your document.
