- When I changed in the opposite direction, from serial to inport mouse,
- I got a similar effect. OS/2 worked well, except that the inport mouse
- wasn't recognized.

- Well, the driver actually was the same for both mice and the serial
- mouse (which was still connected at that time) got priority over the
- inport mouse. I just had to remove the serial mouse.

- This happened some time ago, maybe IBM reversed the presence checks in
- the meantime :-)
