- I belive that all modern IDE drives are 1:1 interleave, and cannot
- be changed. In fact, on some drives, the low-level format can be destroyed
- by attempting that.

- If you are checking the optimum interleave using the AMI setup program,
- it may give you a different "optimum" interleave, as I noted when I installed
- my WD 125 meg drive, but this was because on these high-speed drives, the
- bios must be shadowed to get the highest transer rate (OS/2 does this for you).
