- The two seperate issues with VESA are:

- 1. Can OS/2 provide virtual VESA services to DOS apps?
- 2. Can OS/2 use VESA real-mode calls to implement a PM driver or BVHSVGA?

- The answer to #1 is yes, as Bert Tyler points out. It hasn't been done yet,
- but it is possible. What has held it up is the fact that most boards provide
- BIOS support or a TSR which can be used under OS/2 anyway. So, to have OS/2
- provide the service is not a must-have. But it might be done anyway.

- Issue #2 is what my previous post was about .. where I make the case that
- it doesn't sound feasible (but I don't know enough to be certain).
