  16. There's nothing reprehensible about that.  In fact, the organizer of the
  17. popular GRAPHICS forums, Larry Wood, is quite upfront about that
  18. arrangement.  It's how he makes his money and pays his staff.  He is
  19. an independent contractor who built and develops a series of Compuserve
  20. forum areas (originally one, but now up to six or so) that are interesting
  21. and informative enough to draw plenty of Compuserve users and their
  22. connect time, and Compuserve pays him a percentage of the gate.
