- There's nothing reprehensible about that. In fact, the organizer of the
- popular GRAPHICS forums, Larry Wood, is quite upfront about that
- arrangement. It's how he makes his money and pays his staff. He is
- an independent contractor who built and develops a series of Compuserve
- forum areas (originally one, but now up to six or so) that are interesting
- and informative enough to draw plenty of Compuserve users and their
- connect time, and Compuserve pays him a percentage of the gate.
