  11. I have UUPC v1.11w running on my machine with Elm v2.3pl11 and SNews/2
  12. v2.0.  With two minor inconvienences of SNews (Random locking of machine
  13. in both SNews reading articles and EXPIRE, I can CTRL-ESC to bring up a
  14. task list, but that is all, nothing else.  The only other key sequence
  15. that works is CTRL-ALT-NUMLOCK, CTRL-ALT-DEL does nothing.  This is OS/2
  16. GA with the SP installed, TSENG SVGA drivers loaded), I haven't had any
  17. major gripes.

  19. I do, however, have a problem.  When reading news in SNews I can post,
  20. followup, reply to poster, etc. just like one would expect.  When I try
  21. to mail the article to someone, I get a 
  22.       SYS0005:  Access denied "D:\UUPC\SNews" message, and the screen
  23. reappears just as everything was normal.  A quick UUSTAT tells me
  24. otherwise.  This happens if I choose to edit or not the article being
  25. sent.  MicroEmacs (my editor) is spawned with the article correctly if I
  26. choose to edit before sending.

  28. The only other problem I have had with SNews was a NUL pointer
  29. assignment, runtime error r6000.

  31. My workaround (messy) sofar has been to save the article, bring up ELM
  32. with the "elm -f \directory\article" commandline to forward it off to my
  33. intended recipient.
