  11. The price for the Soundblaster Pro + CD-Rom package seems to be
  12. right around $400 right now and I'm considering taking the plunge.
  13. My only concern is whether or not there is a working driver for
  14. CL's proprietary CD-Rom interface and if not the status of development
  15. of such a driver.  I'm interested in this package for 2 reasons:
  16.  * it's cheap (relatively)
  17.  * it's fast (I believe the CD-Rom avg seek is 340ms and is MPC(?)
  18.    compliant).
  19.  
  20. Does anyone out there know the scoop?  Any information would be
  21. greatly appreciated.
