  15. I'm relatively new to this conference and from all the useful advice I
  16. see you leaving for others I thought you'd be the best person to
  17. talk to about a few questions I have.  If you can't help me I appreciate
  18. it if you'd steer me in the right direction.

  20. I access this conference via my local BBS here in Toronto Canada -
  21. Canada Remote Systems (CRS).  I notice that you often advise people
  22. to download various files and OS2FAQ from "anonymous ftp".

  24. First of all I'm wondering what "anonymous ftp" means.
  25. Do I have access to this via my BBS and FIDONET?  If so, how do I go
  26. about accessing it?  If not is there a list of BBSs so that I could get
  27. access?

  29. Also, I don't know how familiar you are with posting messages via
  30. INTERNET etc but I haven't had any luck with it.  I'm supposed to
  31. have access to INTERNET via my CRS BBS but the person I address messages
  32. to never receives my forwards, nor I his.  Is there somewhere I could get
  33. some advice or instructions on how to do this - format, protocol etc?
