  11.   The hardware I had problems with was from CMS Enhancements (Not Colorado
  12. Memory Systems - Good Stuff) in California.  They use a closed-door
  13. architecture that makes their products incompatible with anything else. 
  14. For example, I was trying to use 3 CMS LANStack Disk Subsystems with an
  15. Adaptec controller, and Novell was gonna make me CompSurf the drives.  On
  16. the other hand, you could buy Micropolis subsystems and hook them to an
  17. Adaptec or Ultrastor controller, and they work fine.  With these people,
  18. you have no choice but to buy all of their products if you expect any kind
  19. of future compatibility...
