- The hardware I had problems with was from CMS Enhancements (Not Colorado
- Memory Systems - Good Stuff) in California. They use a closed-door
- architecture that makes their products incompatible with anything else.
- For example, I was trying to use 3 CMS LANStack Disk Subsystems with an
- Adaptec controller, and Novell was gonna make me CompSurf the drives. On
- the other hand, you could buy Micropolis subsystems and hook them to an
- Adaptec or Ultrastor controller, and they work fine. With these people,
- you have no choice but to buy all of their products if you expect any kind
- of future compatibility...
