- Can anybody shed any light on why I cannot get either OS/2 2.0 or
- the new beta to recognise my Philips CDD521 SCSI drive? I have tried
- both the CDROM.SYS driver and the generic CDROM_G.SYS driver that are
- supplied on the disk but both fail to find a SCSI device.
-
- I am running on a 486DX2 with 16Mb RAM, 1.2GB SCSI hard disk driven
- from an Adaptec 1542B. (The 521 is hung off the 1542B set to address
- 4). I actually have two ADA1542B cards in the system, one is set to
- provide a BIOS so that I can boot (with the disk and CD-ROM on it)
- while the other is not currently used.
-
- Please help - I'm going mad here........
