- I've a minor problem with two different games which, curiously,
- exhibit the same symptoms under OS/2 - Falcon III and Joe Montana
- Football.
-
- I've got a SoundBlaster installed. It works fine in general with
- these games, except that, periodically, there is a growling noise
- that comes from the games. In Falcon III, I'm guessing that this is
- probably radio messages, and in Joe Montana Football, maybe speech
- really slowed down? All other sounds work ok.
-
- Can anyone tell me what's going on here, and perhaps what DOS
- setting will fix this? (I'm running the games in DOS full screen
- mode. I did try setting HW_TIMER to ON in Joe Montana Football
- but that really made OS/2 very unhappy - WPS slowed down and it
- was tough to kill the program).
-
- Thanks for any assistance.
